Tyler English

Tyler English (He/Him), from Norfolk, Virginia (757) is a 3rd year UAA Scholar from the University of Virginia double majoring in Chemistry and Global Public Health. A first-generation, low-income student, Tyler faced the tragedy of losing his father to multiple primary malignancies, an experience that fuels his profound personal drive. This background has motivated him to enhance support systems to tackle the increasing intricacies of health. This background has motivated him to pursue the 4+1 MPH program and subsequently enter medical school, all while supporting empowering FGLI students from diverse backgrounds. He serves as the Events Chair of First of the Family".
