As first-generation college students, many of us do not have a lot of family connections that provide us with various potential opportunities. No matter what industries you are passionate about, meeting with the right people can always give you the upper hand. Luckily, connections are something that we can make by ourselves through effective networking, and effective networking is something that we can learn and become good at through active practice, even if you are an introvert! In this session, you will learn how to make valuable connections or find mentors in online and in-person networking situations and maintain these meaningful connections that can empower your study and career.
